Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Capsoil Technologies is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the site, not a one-off exercise.
Conformance target
We are working to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive and neurological disabilities.
This site aims to meet Level AA. We assess conformance through a combination of automated testing, manual keyboard-only testing and screen-reader review.
What we have done
- All interactive controls are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, and show a clearly visible focus indicator.
- A “Skip to main content” link is the first item in the tab order on every page.
- Pages use proper landmark regions and a logical heading order.
- Dialogs keep keyboard focus inside them while open and return focus to the control that opened them.
- Text meets the contrast ratios required at Level AA, and charts carry text alternatives so their data is not conveyed by colour or shape alone.
- The site honours your operating system’s “reduce motion” setting. When it is on, the scroll-driven animations stop and all content remains readable.
- Form errors identify the specific field at fault and are announced to assistive technology.
Display preferences
The accessibility button in the corner of every page opens a panel where you can turn on higher contrast, increase the text size, stop animations and underline all links. These settings are remembered in your browser. They are offered in addition to — never instead of — the accessibility of the standard page.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following and are working on them:
- Scroll-driven animation sequences. The homepage uses long, scroll-controlled image sequences. With “reduce motion” enabled these freeze and the accompanying text is shown in normal reading order, but the default experience remains motion-heavy.
- Third-party components. The cookie consent banner and parts of the checkout are provided by third-party software whose accessibility we do not fully control. We test them and raise issues with the vendors.
- Documents. Some downloadable technical data sheets are generated as Word documents and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Contact us and we will provide the information in an accessible format.
